In September 2023 a new development program of VEB.RF and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for management personnel from 200 Russian cities. The main emphasis in training will be made on the development of the hospitality industry and increasing the attractiveness of cities for tourism. In general, training will be 1000 man from 200 cities with higher tourism potential

Since September we have been launching on the basis of the School of Management «Skolkovo» the latest program under the patronage Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov. The launch of such a large-scale training program will increase the attractiveness of certain territories, which will positively affect the economy of the regions, and will also improve service standards in the country as a whole», — noted the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.

Development of regional tourism

The educational program is designed for 1 year and will consist of 5 modules, dedicated to domestic tourism, urban environment and tourism infrastructure, improving the quality of service and staffing, marketing and promotion of territories, as well as managing a team under conditions of uncertainty.

The team from each town will include 5 Human: representatives of city and regional administrations, including profile specialists in tourism.

Based on the results of the program, a model of the urban tourism ecosystem will be developed for each city, which will include: projects specifically in the field of development of the hospitality industry, projects, aimed at improving the quality of life and the quality of the urban environment, as well as the accompanying development of the social sphere, maps of distribution of areas of responsibility between project participants, rational models for providing projects with financial and human resources.

According to the viewGovernor of the Kaliningrad Region Anton Alikhanov, such a program, like many other VEB.RF projects, – important for the Russian regions.
